Although we only run a certain few weeks of the season to ensure high success, we are Midwest Custom Hunts, and custom hunts are what we are about! What is your success rate?
The 2015 and 2016 seasons provided us with 65 to 75 percent shots fired and 35 to 45 percent successful harvest rate on whitetails over 130 inches.
Do you have a size minimum?
Yes, our minimum is 130 inches or mature. We will go over this thoroughly the night before your hunt. A $750 fine will be assessed before departing from camp if an immature buck is taken during your hunt.
Do you have trophy fees?
No, we do not have trophy fees. The bigger, the better!
What types of stands do you have?
We have many options when it comes to stands, including lock-ons, ladder stands, box blinds, and ground blinds. Let us know what you are capable of hunting out of, and we will have it ready when you arrive for your hunt.
What is your lodging like?
Our 5,000 square-foot Missouri lodge sleeps 16, with private motel-style rooms detached that sleep two each. Renovated in 2013, our lodge features full-size Serta beds, five fully-furnished restrooms, two sets of washers and dryers, a large living room area with a flat screen TV, and wireless internet access.
How do I book a hunt?
Contact Shane to determine the type of hunt you are looking for and availability that works with your schedule. Once dates have been set, a 50% nonrefundable retainer will be required to book your spot.
